Things like, “We can all get ahead if we just work hard enough.” Or, “Government just makes things worse, so it should get out of the way.” To begin shifting the mindsets that are hindering our progress toward justice, we first have to recognize them. Then, we have to unseat them through carefully crafted counter-narratives. Leaders who are skilled at naming and reframing dominant narratives are equipped to make lasting change.
