Pivoting Around Negative Disruptors

We’ve all been in rooms where one fatalistic comment drains the energy out of the progress we’re making together. Things like, “We’ll never get the money.” Or, “We tried that before and it didn’t work.” To keep momentum on our side, we have to plan for and pivot around those disruptive comments and return quickly to the future-focused vision we’re working towards. Leaders who are skilled at pivoting are better able to keep people focused on the path to success.
